I watch a great deal of YouTube, It’s how I have learned photography, knife skills, cooking basics – you name it and YouTube has fed my obsession. Ramen is no different. I find YouTube is a wonderful if not challenging resource for a ramen cook. So many oversimplified recipes and disappointing ramen mashups. Just the search term ramen will yield spice challenges and people overeating bricks of ramen for clicks and likes.
I like searching for recipes on YouTube. It requires time and space- paper and pen to make the best use of it. You allow the story to be told and the recipe to be shared. You take notes and take in the visuals.
Asian at Home has pretty wonderful production quality and really solid recipes. The woman know her ramen and therefore has my heart. I encourage you to follow her channel.
